Back Cover Copy

As a child, artist and potter Dani Bennett witnessed the brutal murder of her parents. With no memory of the incident or her true identity, she was forced to take on a new name and a new life, hidden away in Montana for the past 25 years.

Mae Richmond has spent the same stretch of time searching for her granddaughter, who went missing the night her daughter and son-in-law were murdered. Convinced the woman she saw in a pottery magazine feature is the woman she’s been searching for, she enlists the help of K-9 officer Mark Lassiter of Pearl Springs, Tennessee, who tracks Dani down.

Skeptical but curious, Dani sets out on a journey to uncover the secrets of her past and reclaim her true identity. But someone close to her is determined to keep the truth of what happened all those years ago hidden.

My Review

This story will keep you reading until late into the night. I loved Dani’s character. She was relatable and easy to love. Every chapter left me wanting to keep reading, who was after Dani and her family? Will Dani be able to remember the man she saw that dreadful night? Will she eventually regain all her memories that had been buried for so long? So good. Patricia Bradley is quickly becoming a new favorite author for me! I highly recommend this one!

My Review

Another amazing installment in the Defend and Protect series! I have thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series, and this one was no exception! Zane and Tessa were characters that were easy to love. They had their own struggles, but they overcame them, and are moving forward. From the very beginning this story had me wondering who did it? What’s going to happen next? Why are they after Tessa? I could not put it down, there were so many questions that will keep you reading until the very end so you can find out what happens. I highly recommend this one! This book is book 3 in the series, but they could definitely stand alone without feeling like you’re lost in the middle somewhere.

Oath of Honor by Lynette Eason–Book Review

When Isabelle St. John’s partner is murdered right in front of her at what was supposed to be a simple stakeout, she is set on getting to the bottom of what was going on in that warehouse, and who killed Kevin. She has no idea what will unfold, but when information gets to her that there may be cops working for the bad guys, she’s not sure who she can trust. As she and her partner’s brother work on the case it brings them closer together, and they start falling for each other. Will they find out what’s going on before another disaster happens? Will Izzy be able to get past the past and let Ryan into her heart?

Edge-of-your-seat suspense is the best way to describe this fast-paced mystery. It will literally keep you guessing until the end! So amazing. I have read a few of Eason’s books, and this book does not disappoint. If you love suspense and mystery, you will love this book. I quickly fell in love with the characters, and felt like I was with Izzy through the whole investigation, and the many bumps along the road. This is definitely one you need to read!

I love this series. This is book two in the If I Run Series, and it is as gripping as the first one. The storyline will suck you in from the very beginning and you won’t be able to put it down. The characters are well developed, and you’ll empathize with them. I was rooting for Casey and Dylan through the whole book. I can’t wait to see how this all ends in the last book of the series! Full of suspense, twists and turns, Blackstock will keep you on your toes guessing. If you love suspense, get this series, and get started now, you’re not going to want to miss this!

Side note: this is not a stand alone book, you’re going to want to read this series in order.
