My Review

Such a great read! Sophie and Burke are characters that you easily fall in love with. Just a short way into the book, I could not put the book down because I had to know what happened. There are so many twists and turns, just when I thought I knew what was going on and who was after Sophie….another plot twist! I was guessing all the way to the end of the book. The characters were very well written. I absolutely loved Sophie. She was brave, curious and reminded me of the leading ladies in those TV shows who take it upon themselves to solve the case on their own. Then you have Burke a mysterious police officer who was extremely hard to figure out. For those that are sensitive readers, I do want to warn you that this book mentions trafficking. It is only mentioned in passing and not gone into any detail at all, but I just want to put it out there in case just the mention of it would bother others. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and would definitely recommend it over and over again.
