Prayer Points – Praying God’s Promises at your point of need–Book Review

prayer pointsDo you ever need a verse to claim that pertains to a certain situation in your life, and you just don’t know where to start? Do you ever need recommendations on how to pray about that situation? This is the book for you! This book takes many common topics and gives you a few of God’s promises, several verses and a sample prayer to make your own dealing with each topic. Topics include things like cancer, depression, life as a mother, etc.

This book reminded me of the Bible Promise Book, but a little more in depth than just listing verses for each topic. I thoroughly enjoyed this book because a lot of times I feel like I need a specific verse to claim when I’m dealing with something, and often I can find them on my own, but I love that this book had several topics that spoke to me and with each topic verses that I can claim as my own and take them to God in prayer. I highly recommend this as a great resource for all Christians, because sometimes you just don’t know how to pray for something, and this gives some good jump starts for when you want to cry out to God but just can’t find the words.
