We’ve all been there. One of our children falls down and gets a minor scratch, and comes running to mommy to kiss it and make it feel better. This book shows all kinds of animals getting minor injuries and being comforted by their mothers. It shows children how God cares even when their boo boos are minor.
This book is beautifully illustrated. I thought the author did a great job at conveying how God cares for children’s boo boos just like their mothers do. It goes through several different scenarios where the animals are hurt or sick, and I think a child can greatly relate to each one. Whether it’s a stuffy nose, a tummy ache, or a small bump or scratch, they can always know that God is always near and cares for them. My daughter loved the book and kept asking me to read it again. I highly recommend this for parents to read to their small children.
