It’s a God Thing Volume 2 by Don Jacobson–Book Review

_225_350_Book_1401_coverIt’s a God Thing Volume 2 is a great book about miracles in the lives of ordinary people today. Each chapter is a different story from a different person about their own personal miracle from God. It encourages believers everywhere by showing that miracles still happen today. It’s also a great testimony to unbelievers of the powerful God we serve and can serve to draw them to Christ.

I was so encouraged by each story in this book. Chapter by chapter it’s amazing to hear about the miracles God is performing in the lives of His people all around the world. It’s encouraging because we know that we serve a mighty God who can perform miracles, but often we do not hear about them or even witness them firsthand. Sometimes we take for granted the little miracles that we do have in our lives and chalk it up to something totally unrelated, when it really is a God thing. A miracle doesn’t always constitute as being miraculously healed of cancer; it could simply be God moving us down a separate street because the normal route we travel down would have resulted in us being in a wreck. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who just needs an encouragement or their faith strengthened.
