The Five Love Languages of Children by Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell–Book Review

the-5-love-languages-of-childrenThe Five Love Languages of Children is a book that can help parents to learn how to best love their children. It goes through each love language and explains what to look for and how to show love for a child who has that particular language as their primary language. It also has chapters on how to show love in discipline, how to deal with anger and love, and also how to implement the love languages in a single parent home.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I find it very helpful to show your children love in a way that will keep what Chapman calls their “emotional love tank” full. I would highly recommend every parent to read it no matter how old your children are. It’s important that we understand how to best show our love to our children. I know I learned a lot not just about how to show my love to my children, but also how to properly discipline without making them feel unloved.
